Project Requirements:
Develop a large database driven website to act as a catalog for industry standard part numbers, allow users to search required parts and submit their RFQs (Request for Quotations) to receive quotes, sales orders in PDF format. Suppliers receive purchase orders in PDF format.
Develop a 'Backend Admin Control Panel' internal web interface to the database for our sales staff to use to open new RFQs, generate Quotes, generate Sales Orders and Purchase Orders, add new Customer, Supplier and Product records, and search on and/or generate reports on any/all existing data in the database.
Development Platform and Features:
PhP, MySQL, Smarty, Pear, On-the-fly PDF generation.
